Piccadilly wird ein Buch mit - wenn ich es richtig verstehe - 60 Bildern, die sich mit der Promotion von "Rebel Heart" befassen. Gezeigt werden die schönsten Schnappschüsse von ihren Auftritten bei den Grammy Awards, Brit Awards, Le Grand Journal, Jonathan Ross, Ellen Show etc.
Das Format des Portfolios wird 30 x 30 cm betragen und das Buch selbst wird 56 Seiten haben. Die Edition wird auf 1000 Exemplare limitiert sein und - wiederum wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe - jede 50. Bestellung gewinnt die "Living for Love"-Single auf CD.

Zweiter "Hard Candy"-Fitness-Club wird in Köln eröffnet werden
Laut Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger wird bereits Ende April der zweite "Hard Candy"-Club in Deutschland in Köln eröffnet werden. Die Umbauarbeiten laufen bereits auf Hochtouren. Ob Madonna zur Eröffnung anwesend sein oder bei ihrem Tourstopp in Köln im November die Gelegenheit zur Werbung für das Fitnessstudio nutzen wird, ist derzeit noch unklar.

Gestern war Madonna Gast bei der französischen Sendung "Le Grand Journal" und sie hat nicht nur ein gutes, ausführliches Interview gegeben, sondern auch gleich zwei Songs aufgeführt: Einen neuen Remix von "Living for Love" und - endlich! - Ghosttown.
Kenntnisse der französischen Sprache sind von Vorteil, weil die Simultanübersetzerin natürlich die Stimme von Madonna überlagert. Man kann sich aber auch auf Madonnas Stimme konzentrieren und kann dann schon erfassen, was sie sagt. Zudem sind viel ihrer Positionen eh bekannt, so dass man sich auch viel zusammenreimen kann.

Heute wurde offiziell die "Rebel Heart Tour" angekündigt, die Madonna auch nach Köln und Berlin bringen wird. Wer es ganz eilig hat (und auf Nummer Sicher gehen will), kann ab morgen Tickets über die offizielle Homepage ergattern. Dazu benötigt man entweder einen ICON Live Pass, den man ab sofort für 20 US-Dollar kaufen kann ODER muss ein Lifetime Legacy Member sein. Wer bereits Lifetime Legacy Member ist, braucht KEINEN Live Pass!

Billboard.com just announced that Madonna scored her 44th no. 1 hit on the Dance Club Songs Chart. That makes her the second artist - and the first female artist - to score 44 no. 1 hits on a single chart (the other being George Strait who scored 44 no. 1 hits on the Hot Country Songs Chart).

"But I bought the tickets myself and took my daughters to see Madonna and we didn’t get any special seat, we’re off to the right, and lights were on and the show started and I could just see how happy my daughters were, watching her show and she was just blazing, she was going really strong and then the lights dipped the second time as the show was mid-way through and also she goes: “I want to apologize to somebody. “And the audience got really quiet and she said: “I want to apologize to Kevin Costner.” And I had no idea that she even knew that I was in the audience. And it was a very big thing and my daughters turned and looked at me like: “What was that?” And I was so glad, number one – to hear that. Didn’t think it was coming, I got even embarrassed a little bit. The lights didn’t shine on me because no one knew the lights were on and my daughters looked at me and I just thought it was a really nice thing for her to do. I never actually called her to say: “Hey, thanks”, because we have just this weird communication that goes back and forth."

I don't think there was one part. I think it's an ongoing activity in my life. I'm continuing to open doors for the women behind me. I don't know many women who have had a successful career in pop music as long as I've had. And I waited until I was older to have children. I raised children and wasn't married. And I continue to express myself -- my sexuality -- in my 50s, even though that's also considered taboo, and I get a lot of shit for it. But in 20 years, Miley Cyrus probably won't get shit for it. Then, it'll be like, "Oh, yeah, that's nothing new."
